I don’t recommend a solo diet of these kinds of projects, but I think they have value - for basic fine motor and skills practice - and many kids take pride in producing this kind of craft. When you cut out the pieces, it’s a simple gluing and placing activity for preschoolers. When my Three came into the kitchen asking for a project, I pulled this one out. Be sure to mix the paint with water so that it spreads easily when you blow through the straw. This was my one of my Three’s favorite projects!
